Banjo and Kazooie return in this third installment to battle it out with the evil witch Gruntilda.

Build a vehicle to pilot over land, water and air at Mumbo's Motors.

The Lord of Games (LOG) has built many worlds to determine the rightful owner of Spiral Mountain. In Nuts & Bolts, a showdown has been set. The Lord of the Games (LOG) has arranged a duel between Banjo and the evil witch Gruntilda, aka Grunty, to decide the rightful owner of Spiral Mountain. LOG, being the creator of all video games, has built a multitude of worlds to host the challenges. Banjo must complete all the worlds to win, while Grunty tirelessly tries to stop his efforts using every method she can muster.

Build it at Mumbo's Motors
The game is loaded with vehicle options to help Banjo pilot over land, water, and air. Parts for vehicles are widely diverse, ranging from your standard engines and wheels to egg guns, floaters, and other gadgets. The Mumbo's Motors workshop makes it easy to create new vehicles. You'll collect different parts by solving puzzles and exploring worlds. Vehicle parts include a wide variety of body panels, engines, wheels, wings, propellers, fuel, and weapons, plus lots of bizarre items like Mumbo Bombos, floaters, and the versatile sticky ball that allows you to create almost anything from a simple object. Once you've finished your ride, customize your creation with a paint job and a suitable name before Banjo takes the wheel and pilots it into action.

Customize, Customize, Customize--or Just Get Down to Business
LOG's worlds are littered with hidden secrets, reward puzzles, and over 100 contraption parts that deliver an almost limitless combination of vehicle possibilities. As you work through the worlds, you'll discover more and more ways to customize and improve your contraptions, creating a surprising level of user-generated content. But even if you don't fancy yourself the greatest inventor or a highly creative craftsman, you can still have countless hours of fun with Banjo-Kazooie's pre-built vehicles. With these at your fingertips you're ready to jump in and get started, and there are plenty more contraptions available for purchase throughout the adventure using in-game currency and musical notes.

Characters, Old and New
Banjo and his best friend, Kazooie, are ready to battle for their homeland and prevent Grunty from developing it into tower blocks and malls. Other familiar faces return as well, such as Bottles, Captain Blubber, and the Jinjos, along with a vibrant cast and crew of new friends and foes. Keep your eyes peeled for Grunty's minions--look out for Trophy Thomas, Piddles, and Grunty's menacing Gruntbots: they'll do anything to prevent Banjo's success.

Nuts & Bolts offers an engaging storyline, entertaining characters, and fun gameplay options. This game offers complete single-player and multiplayer experiences--tackle LOG's worlds on your own, or play with your friends in competitive and cooperative challenges. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts for Xbox 360 is a enjoyable, challenging game that appeals to people of all ages and types.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts delivers loads of customization options, interesting characters (old and new), and plenty of fun, challenging gameplay.

What Customers Say About Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts:

This is fun a game with lots to do. I spend hours making my own vehicles i love customization aspect of the game.

Fun for a short while, but gets very repetitive and boring half-way. Lets face it, this is not the Banjo-Kazooie that we all know and love from the first game. There placement into the game was to move product.

This game wouldn't have been so disappointing if I didn't come into it with the same expectations of a sequel in the Banjo Kazooie series.I was a big fan of the other two games, and though I am aware that Rare was shooting for something entirely different they should simply have renamed the game as something else. Most likely, they thought that no one would try the game if they didn't have familiar characters from one of their more popular series, so they mooched off of their prior successes. Also, considering the fact that the overwhelming majority of the gameplay entails driving, one would think that the driving controls would be better. To be frank, the controls are terrible and steering is horrendous. The tasks in each world become repetitive and boring.Overall, I would definitely not recommend this game.

I've put many long hours into this game (definitely a couple days worth), and enjoyed every bit of it. Otherwise, it is just $20; what is there to lose. Nevertheless, there is still some platforming at its heart, where you will end up spending a lot of time on foot and in your vehicle collecting notes (to buy new parts) and seeking Mumbo crates (which get you new parts to build new vehicles).Let's talk challenges. Most of the game involves building vehicles and using them to complete challenges. The single player experience is completely worthwhile and you will get your money's worth out of it.

All the challenges are relatively easy to complete (to achieve the minimum award), but if you want to challenge yourself, try beating some high scores or going for the highest award. They are all rather large size and compliment vehicles of all types. There is multiplayer also, but I have not honestly used it enough to have a good opinion on it. Here is where the ingenuity of this game is. Give a young adult the controller, and Mumbo's Motors (the place to make your vehicles) will suddenly become the game's headquarters, and the clever witticisms will become apparent. To conclude, I say: give this game a chance. If you never played Banjo-Kazooie or Banjo-Tooie on Nintendo 64, then there is a very great chance that you will enjoy this game.

I will try to mention briefly everything that needs to be mentioned.First, the issue of staying true to its originals. N&B shares the characters and wittiness of the first game, and there is no way you can dislike this. The biggest downfall, I would say, with the multiplayer is the very limited fanbase. "maps") are all unique and have lots of goodies hidden throughout them. The real beauty lies in the specific challenges themselves. If you are creative and dream of building cars, planes, helicopters, submarines, boats, hovercrafts, any type of vehicle, this is where you will spend A LOT of time.

Also to be noted is the fact that there are a handful of very tough challenges (if you wish to achieve the highest award).Let's talk customization. I'll admit that there is nothing groundbreaking in this delivery, as you simply walk up to the character making the challenge and complete it if you so please. I personally had little experience with the originals and had only played the first one a week or two before playing N&B. It blends in perfectly with the visual style, and tops off an overall great game.If you're a purist BK fan, maybe you will feel "offended" seeing your two characters in these roles (*gasp* vehicles). The cartoon style actually looks quite nice and is very appealing. The soundtrack is subjective. This game went completely under the radar, and I have little reason to doubt that there are only a handful of players on at any given time, if at all.The graphics are not perfect, but it is a cartoon and you will not notice any problems with them during your gameplay. Being a vehicle-based game, you can expect a lot of races (sea, air, and/or land), but there are some exceptionally unique and fun challenges. There are a ton of parts (some simple, some unique) to use, and you will really strive to unlock more parts.

If you are, then I have to say, get over yourself. From what I see, this is the biggest obstacle to overcome. You can sample the soundtrack on Amazon, but as a short description, it is very upbeat and pleasing music. I personally love it. Even if you don't use a vehicle for a challenge, you can still just free roam in the 6 different worlds which you unlock. The worlds (i.e. That shouldn't stop you from enjoying a game, which is one of the most enjoyable games on Xbox 360.Surprisingly, this game does what few can do properly. If you have Xbox Live, you can try the demo. Rare took a new direction with this Banjo Kazooie game, and if you give it a chance (take off your nostalgia glasses beforehand), you may very well enjoy it.This game is really all about fun.

Give a young kid the controller, and they will have a blast driving the premade vehicles and running around with the bird and the bear. Possibilities of custom vehicles are endless. Save as many vehicle creations as you like. It can be played easily by young kids AND enjoyed thoroughly by parents and more mature audiences. I preordered this game for $40 and it is probably the best $40 I have ever spent on video games.

Yea, I would buy another one of these games from the vendor. Finally a fun child's game without guns. Very good game of strategy and skill. Delivered in a good package like new. Thanks again.
